Palestinian director Kamal Aljafari: 'I always felt like an immigrant in my own country'
A festival of Palestinian cinema is shining a spotlight on local filmmakers, who often work in difficult circumstances. The Festival Ciné-Palestine showcases exceptional films that would otherwise receive little exposure in the West. Held in Paris, the event is supported by patrons such as Ken Loach, Julie Christie, Mark Rylance and even French footballer-turned-actor Eric Cantona. We spoke to director Kamal Aljafari, whose work is being featured at the fest.
